INAMPUDI SRI LAXMI, was born on 15th August, 1967 at Bodhan, Nizamabad Dist.
Completed my Graduation in Science from Giri Raj College
Completed my Masters Degree from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University in POLITICAL SCIENCE.
Completed my Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from Osmania University with distinction.
I am a Government employee working as Announcer,in All India Radio,Hyderabad, for the last 2 decades and am a Poetess and Film Maker by interest. I had a credit of publishing many articles, books and poems on various subjects including FINE ARTS and FILMS and in making documentaries. I have organized and designed many programmes on films and conducted interviews with prominent film personalities, which were broadcasted on AIR.

My Literary Works
Right from my school days, I am an active participant in Literary Affairs, as I am very passionate towards Letters and Poetry. Here is the list of my achievements in the field of Literature:
- Writing Free Verse since schooling
- Worked as Editor for School and College Magazines,
- wrote a regular column on the Biographical Sketches of Artists in KEKALU DAILY.
- My Poems were placed in various Collection of Poems like Gujarat Gayam, Vishleshana, Samsleshana, Indur Bharati Poetry collections and Festival Special Issues.

- My story titled, EDARI GAAYAM is placed in VETALE KATALAI (A collection of Stories of Telangana Women Writers).
- I have contributed number of articles, reviews, essays, interviews etc.
- I was the Member to the Editorial committee of Indur Utsav Special Issues for the year 2000.
- Participated in National Level Poetry Symposium held at Telugu University, Hyderabad on Womens’s Day.
- Participated in the competition organized by Wipro on the eve of International Mothers’ Day and honoured with gold.
- Wrote reviews on literary works of Poetry, Story, Novel and Non-Fiction of various authors and poets in Yojana monthly and in Prajashakti Daily.
- Published poetry book titled ALALA VANA in 2001, DHRUKKONAM (Bhaava Chitralu)in 2003.
- Published a Long-Poem titled, LIFE @ CHARMINAR in 2011.
- I have turned my attention towards FILM MAKING and take a plunge with an experimental documentary. I made the long poem into a documentary under my direction and voice-over with All-Women Team. The DOCU POEM had won the prestigious Special Jury Award at 5th KAFISO NATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL.
- Honored with Best Poem Award by the prestigious RANJANI-KUNDURTHI NATIONAL AWARD for the year 2011 for my poem–VENNELA DUKHAM on 18thJanuary, 2012
- I have been associated with many social and cultural organizations like Leo Club, Lioness club, Jaycees, Redcross, Mahila Dakshata Samithi , Samatha, Indur Bharati.
- Took part in many literary social cultural activities by becoming an active Member in Indur Baharati, Swecha Organization, Jashua Foundation, etc.
- My services were recognized and I made a mark in the field of social Service activities. This inspiration was instrumental in my endeavor to start a HOME FOR THE AGED in the name of my parents “ Sarojini Shyam Sunder Vrudhashram Seva Sangam” and “ Satya Sai Peda Vidyarthula Sahaya Nidhi”.

I have been working as Senior Grade Announcer in All India Radio for the last 20 years. My voice is familiar with radio listeners.
I have produced number of programmes for AIR, starting from Literature, Arts, Cinema to Interviews to Live-Phone-in Programmes. Some of the prominent programmes are–– Vishayam Inte Mari Weekly sketch, Mana Kavulu weekly serial, Sahiti Parijatam, Domakonda Samsthanam features, Tera Teeyaga Raada a special national feature in Boston School, Darshaneeya Sthalalu serial, interviewed many eminent personality like Vavilala Gopal Krishnaiah Garu, Sri P.V. Narsimha Rao, Dr. C. Narayana Reddy, Sri Jandhyala, Sri Jonnavittula, Satavadhani Sri Gummana Gari Laxmi Narsimha Sarma.
- I was felicitated with many awards of which I treasure the most – Indur Grand Prize for Poetry, Indur Grand Prize for Short Story, Nunna Sahiti Samaikhya, Ummethela state award, Kakinada Sahiti Samaakhya Award, Samskara Bharathi, Jateeya Sahithya Parishad Honors.
- I was a sports woman right from my school days and participated in many sports events
- I was a state level kho–kho, Kabadi, Tennicoit player. I was also awardedInternational youth festival award in Tennicoit.
- Crafting Memorable Experiences Through Words
Anchoring Excellence
- I have a credit of organizing innumerable events as Event Manager and leading them as Anchor. The mega event of Advocates cricket world cup 2007 is one of them. It was conducted at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad where advocates from six countries participated.
- I have conducted cultural festivals like Satavahana utsav, Vishakha utsav, Indur utsav, Stambadri utsav for Govt. of Andhra Pradesh.
- I have organized and managed the Cultural events for Bombay Telugu Association in Bombay at Shanmukananda Vedika for 7 days in the year 2004.
- I have a rare record of organizing and leading 1500 stage programmes in a span of 15 years. I was honoured with the BEST ANCHOR AWARD from GVR AARAADHANA CULTURAL FOUNDATION, Hyderabad, which is a reputed and prestigeous cultural organization in all over India.
